ROC 2023 - First Drivers announced
The next Race Of Champions will take place on January 28-29, 2023 on the snow and ice of Sweden’s Pite Havsbad. Some of motorsport’s all-time greats will now head to Sweden in January to race head-to-head in identical cars on ROC’s iconic parallel track – where the winner is decided by driver skill alone. Multiple Formula 1 World Champions Sebastian Vettel & Mika Hakkinen will be in action, alongside double W Series Champion Jamie Chadwick. Norway’s Petter and Oliver Solberg will defend the ROC Nations Cup title they won earlier this year, while home fans can cheer for Sweden’s four-time FIA World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson. The full driver line-up will be revealed in the run-up to the event.
ROC Sweden 2022 - Welcome to Pite Havsbad, with Neil Cole
We have arrived in Pitea for this weekend's first-ever Race Of Champions on Snow and Ice! During the summer our Pite Havsbad venue is a popular resort destination, but what about winter, when temperatures are happily dipping below -15°C? We have sent our thrill-seeking host Neil Cole out to explore what our venue in Swedish Lapland has to offer.
ROC Sweden 2022 - Behind the scenes of the Track Build
Building a Race Of Champions track on snow and ice, on top of the frozen Baltic Sea, has been ROC's most ambitious project yet. Go behind the scenes of the crew preparing the Pite Havsbad track for this weekend's competition. On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February motorsport stars like Vettel, Johnson, Bottas, Ekstrom, Loeb, Solberg, Kristensen, Coulthard and Kristofferson will compete against each other in equal cars on the snow and ice of Pite Havsbad for the title of Champion of Champions and the ROC Nations Cup.
