Three-time winner of the ROC WORLD FINAL, Mattias Ekström has joined the 2022 roster featuring drivers from the U.S.A., Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Great Britain and France. "My victories at ROC have been some of the biggest moments of my career," said Ekström. Ranked second in the 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship, Ekström's victories at ROC include besting 7-time Formula 1 World Champion, Michael Schumacher, in Beijing and London along with 9-time World Rally Champion, Sebastien Loeb, in Paris. "It's great to have him back to ROC, Mattias is one of the most exciting drivers on the track," said Fredrik Johnsson. "We are grateful that he could get this on his 2022 schedule, considering his participation in the Dakar Rally is in early January."
