Alpine skiing legend Ingemar Stenmark, is the first to be confirmed for the special competition in connection with the 2022 ROC Snow + Ice" WORLD FINAL, February 5-6, 2022.
The 2022 ROC WORLD FINAL will feature superstars like Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen; reigning FIA World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson; three-time winner of the ROC WORLD FINAL, Mattias Ekström; current American Rally Association front-runner, Travis Pastrana; FIA World Rally and Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg; and rising WRC star, Oliver Solberg.
Porsche providing a fleet of new Taycan featuring the latest PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) technology as Courtesy cars and will help the 2022 ROC event work toward carbon-neutral operations.

Ingemar Stenmark is widely regarded as the world's greatest slalom and giant slalom specialists of all time, with 86 World Cup wins. "I’m looking forward to meeting the Champions from Formula 1 , Le Mans, World Rally and Rallycross and maybe get some insider advice how to drive the cars as fast as possible on snow and ice,” said Stenmark.
Stenmark comes to ROC with some experience behind the wheel. His recent campaign in the Porsche Sprint Challenge will make him one of the favorites in the celebrity event. "After racing for the first time in the Porsche Sprint Challenge at Anderstorp raceway I’m looking forward to driving these awesome cars on the frozen ocean at Pite Havsbad," continued Stenmark.

The 2022 ROC "Snow + Ice" WORLD FINAL will be the biggest event ever held in the Norrbotten region of Sweden. Just 60 miles from the Arctic Circle, the event has already locked in a number of the world's best drivers including another Swedish star, Mattias Ekström, who is a World Rallycross and two-time DTM Champion. "Pite Havsbad will be special for several reasons," said ROC President, Fredrik Johnsson. "The snow and ice present some very unique challenges, and the cars are perfectly suited for the fast, wide course."
The ROC racing format is unique, winner-takes-all contest that gives drivers from various disciplines of racing the opportunity to test their talents against competitors they would never typically encounter. A limited release of 3,000 general admission tickets for the 2022 ROC "Snow + Ice" WORLD FINAL the 5-6 February 2022 are available at Tickster. Event organizers will comply with any COVID restrictions in effect. Organizers and local officials will be providing updates through 2021 with regard to any additional ticket sales and any restrictions affecting travel and local services due to COVID.
