Race Of Champions has entered multi-year partnerships with SVT, the main Swedish public service television company and SPORTFIVE. Through the exclusive agreement with SPORTFIVE, a range of live and tape-delayed programming will be brought to markets worldwide.

"ROC is very much a global event. The drivers are international stars, and the types of motorsports they represent have huge international followings," said ROC President, Fredrik Johnsson. "It is very important that we have partners that can create effective plans for global media."

SPORTFIVE is a sports business agency with a dedicated sales force well-designed to maximize media rights for event promoters. “We are delighted to partner with IMP for the distribution of this traditional global motorsport event and to deliver the action to as many motorsport fans as possible across the globe," said Tigran Sirunyan, SVP Media from SPORTFIVE.

In a separate agreement with SVT, the Swedish television market leader will be the official host nation broadcaster and will provide three hours of live broadcasting from each day of ROC's two-day competition. "We really look forward to broadcasting this spectacular racing event, in an amazing environment in Sweden, and show our big audience the fastest drivers in the world," said Åsa Edlund Jönsson, Head of Sports at Swedish Television, SVT.

Over its thirty plus years, the annual Race Of Champions has become known as the definitive, ultimate showdown in racing and has consistently distributed a range of broadcast programs to more than 100 international markets. The ROC racing format is unique, winner-takes-all contest that gives drivers from various disciplines of motorsport the opportunity to test their talents against competitors they would never typically encounter. ROC is renowned for gathering the best in the world, superstars from all of the premier leagues including Formula 1, Le Mans, Nascar, IndyCar, World Rally and Rallycross—legends like Michael Schumacher, Tom Kristensen, Sebastian Vettel, Sébastien Loeb, Petter Solberg, Mattias Ekström, Colin McRae, David Coulthard, Marcus Grönholm, and Jenson Button; along with other international stars like Nascar champions Jimmie Johnson, Kurt and Kyle Busch, and Jeff Gordon; Ryan Hunter-Reay and Josef Newgarden of IndyCar; Formula E Champion Lucas Di Grassi; Legendary Extreme sports star Travis Pastrana; and Indy 500 champs Juan-Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves.

The 2022 ROC "Snow + Ice" WORLD FINAL will take place in Pite Havsbad, Sweden. Just 60 miles from the Arctic Circle, the event has already locked in a number of the world's best drivers including Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen; reigning FIA World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson; three-time winner of the ROC WORLD FINAL, Mattias Ekström; current American Rally Association front-runner, Travis Pastrana; FIA World Rally and Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg; and rising WRC star, Oliver Solberg. "The snow and ice will provide some interesting challenges for the drivers and some spectacular action for our audiences," continued Johnsson. "This will be the widest, fastest track in ROC's history and our broadcast production is set up to make the most of it."
