The reigning FIA World Rallycross champion might be making his ROC debut in Riyadh but theres no doubt the Swedes versatility will mark him out as one to watch in both the Nations Cup and individual event.

Kristofferssons career began on the track, and it wasnt long before he was winning titles. 2012 would prove an incredible year for the Swede who sealed his domestic Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup titles, as well as the International Superstars championship using three very different cars.

Two further Porsche titles followed in 2013 and 2015 before switching to rallycross, a very different discipline entirely. But success predictably soon followed, with Kristoffersson finishing third in 2015s European standings before moving up to the world stage the following year. Second in his debut campaign behind three-time ROC Champion of Champions Mattias Ekstrom served notice of his intentions, and a year later he went one better by claiming the title.

Kristoffersson and World RX team-mate Petter Solberg will both compete in Riyadh, albeit for different nations, with Team Sweden also comprising single-seater ace Joel Eriksson.
