UNNA Luxury Resort & Residences, the authentic Barbados luxury resort brand, is partnering with top motor racing spectacular, the Race Of Champions, taking place at the Bushy Park arena in Barbados on December 13-14.
This prestigious and exciting annual event brings together the world’s finest international drivers from all disciplines of motor sport and sets them free to battle, head-to-head, on the very same track in the very same car, to settle the debate of ‘who will be the Champion of Champions’. Over a dozen top drivers are confirmed to be taking part in the 2014 event so far, including Romain Grosjean, current Lotus F1 driver and reigning ROC ‘Champion of Champions’, Tom Kristensen, nine-time Le Mans 24 hour race winner and Ryan Hunter-Reay, Indianapolis 500 2014 winner and IndyCar Champion 2012.
UNNA Luxury Resorts and Residences is sponsoring the drivers’ lounge at the Race Of Champions and is hosting the drivers and their entourage Saint Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort and Residences and Port Ferdinand Marina and Luxury Residences, on the north-west coast of Barbados, for the duration of the event.
Alistair Brown, sales and marketing director for UNNA, said: ‘We are delighted to be associated with such a world class event and are looking forward to giving a warm Barbados welcome to the drivers and their teams. Saint Peter’s Bay and Port Ferdinand are perfect places to relax and unwind after a day’s motor racing. Our Race Of Champions guests will be some of the first to experience the unique attractions of brand new Port Ferdinand Marina and Luxury Residences, including our spacious and beautifully furnished homes, fine dining at 1359 restaurant, our water-sports centre, spa and gourmet food store.’
Commenting on the partnership, Race Of Champions organiser Fredrik Johnsson said: ‘UNNA is a perfect partner for Race Of Champions, as it is a premium and uniquely Bajan brand, bringing the best in Barbados luxury living, backed by world class amenities and first class service. We are delighted that the drivers and team members will be accommodated by UNNA in such comfort and style.’
