- Race Of Champions drivers will stay in elegant Mayfair hotel thanks to official hotel partner, InterContinental London Park Lane
The Race of Champions, which takes place at Wembley Stadium this Sunday (Dec 14), has named the InterContinental London Park Lane as its official hotel partner.
All 16 of the drivers who will take part in the end-of-season motorsport event will stay at the plush Park Lane hotel, which boasts the prestigious address of Number One Park Lane and stunning views of Buckingham Palace in the heart of London.
Simon Scoot, General Manager of InterContinental London Park Lane, said: “We are extremely proud to be working alongside such a fantastic sporting event and having our hotel full of racing stars. The partnership between InterContinental London Park Lane and The Race of Champions is the first in a long relationship and we look forward to welcoming the legendary motoring team on a yearly basis.
“We would like to wish the drivers the best of luck for Sunday and will ensure they have a good night’s rest.”
Announcing the partnership, Fredrik Johnsson, president of ROC organiser IMP, said: “The Race of Champions is a premium motorsport event and the calibre of our champions demand a hotel of equally high quality, so it’s naturally a delight to have InterContinental London Park Lane working alongside us.
“Plus, of course, the drivers deserve to rest in the most elegant surroundings – they will have worked hard on Sunday!”
