The back-to-back FIA World Rallycross champion returns to ROC for the second time in as many years following an incredible season that saw him win 11 of 12 World RX events and the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
Indeed, Kristoffersson’s career began on the track, and it wasn’t long before he was winning titles. 2012 would prove an incredible year for the Swede who sealed his domestic Scandinavian Touring Car Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup titles, as well as the International Superstars championship using three very different cars.
Two further Porsche titles followed in 2013 and 2015 before switching to rallycross, a very different discipline entirely. But success predictably soon followed, with Kristoffersson finishing third in 2015’s European standings before moving up to the world stage the following year. Second in his debut campaign – behind three-time ROC Champion of Champions Mattias Ekstrom – served notice of his intentions, and a year later he went one better by claiming the title. He repeated the feat emphatically in 2018.
