Birth Date: 7 January 1992

Birthplace: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

Daniel Suarez is the first Mexican-born driver to win in a NASCAR national touring series and the first foreign-born driver to win a NASCAR national series championship.

He started in 2008 in the preliminary category of NASCAR Mexico, Mini-Stock, where he became the youngest driver to win a race in the series. He then moved to the NASCAR Mexico Series in 2010, driving for Telcel Racing and winning the series' Rookie of the Year title. In the 2011 NASCAR Mexico Series, he finished the season with three poles and a podium, finishing ninth in the standings.

In 2015 Daniel Suárez competed in his first full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and won the title the year after. He also competed in the Truck series where he won his first race in 2016.

In 2017 and 2018 he competed full time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series with Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.
